Four Christmases

-by Ann Marie

This comedy makes you understand that every couple dreads seeing the in laws.

"Four Christmases" is a holiday comedy that follows the storyline of a couple, that has been together for three years, not married, no children and both parents are divorced. Every year Brad (Vince Vaughn) and Kate (Reese Witherspoon) go on vacation instead of going to see their parents, but not this time. When the Brad and Kate reach the airport to find every flight is canceled due to fog, they have to spend the day making up time and visiting each others families.

Witherspoon and Vaughn were brilliant on the screen. Their acting and characters flowed smoothly on the big screen making the movie flawless and hilarious. Some other top actors in the movie was Robert Duvall and Jon Voight.

Though this was a holiday movie, the comedic humor kept it light and entertaining. It also brought new insight into what can happen when meeting the inlaws after waiting more than a year.

"Four Christmases" was produced by Seth Gordon. Gordon has made other films such as "The King of Kong" and "Fears of a Clown." He is also working on a new film called "The Only Living Boy in New York" which will be out in 2010.

This movie is recommended for anyone who is a fan of Reese Witherspoon, Vince Vaughn and loves a good holiday comedy.
