-by Ann MarieTwo strangers are put through a wild ride that leads them to understand more about themselves.
"Eagle Eye" follows the story line of two strangers, Jerry Shaw (Shia LaBeouf) and Rachel Holloman (Michelle Monaghan), who are dragged into a terrorist plot by some woman on the phone. The two are put through dangerous situations, where their lives or a loved ones lives are at stake. Jerry and Rachel learn more about themselves and about each other as they figure out who is behind the mastermind of the terrorist plot.
Shia LaBeouf and Michelle Monaghan worked well on the screen. Joining the two actors on the screen was Rosario Dawson, who played Zoe Perez, Michael Chikis, who played Defense Secretary George Callister and Billy Bob Thorton, who played Agent Thomas Morgan.
"Eagle Eye" is an action packed film, full of high paced scenes, explosives and death defining jumps. The lighting throughout the film was dim, during scenes with Jerry and Rachel. There were great cut scenes between learning about Jerry's twin brother Ethan and Jerry and Rachel's storyline.
"Eagle Eye" was directed by D.J. Caruso. This is the second movie Caruso has made with LaBeouf as his lead actor. He has also directed the well known movie "Disturbia," along with directing the hit show "The Shield" which airs on FX with Michael Chiklis playing the main character.
This movie is recommended for anyone who is a fan of Shia LaBeouf or loves a good action packed film.
